FALLD

FALLD is a small retro arcade game about one simple thing: falling. You drop down a narrow shaft that's never the same twice. Every run generates a brand new layout, so there's no pattern to memorize, only reflexes to sharpen.

How to play

One button, one move: tap (or click) to jump to the opposite wall as you fall. Time it right to dodge the spikes lining the shaft, and pay attention, since some of them start swinging the deeper you go.

Depth is the only score that matters. Falling as far as possible, measured in meters, is the whole game.

Why it exists

FALLD started as a weekend project: a love letter to old-school one-button arcade games (think Flappy Bird's directness, with a vertical twist) built with plain HTML5 canvas, no game engine, no downloads. It's meant to be picked up and put down in thirty seconds, on any phone or laptop.
